The 11th edition of the Venice Gap-Financing Market (August 30 – September 1), organised as part of Venice Production Bridge, has selected 61 projects from around the world in the final stages of development and funding.
The event gives the projects the opportunity to close their international financing through one-to-one meetings with international decision-makers. This year’s Venice Production Bridge has VPB Focus sections for Luxembourg & Wallonia-Brussels (supported by Film Fund Luxembourg and Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel), and Japan (supported by JETRO).
The selection is divided as follows:
*34 feature-length Fiction Film and Documentary projects (incl. six VPB Focus projects)
*16 Immersive projects (incl. four VPB Focus projects)
*8 Biennale College Cinema – Immersive projects
*3 Biennale College Cinema projects
Venice International Film Festival is taking place August 28 to September 7, 2024.
