Youku Tudou to produce six-picture slate

Heyi Pictures, the film arm of Chinese online video giant Youku Tudou, has announced that it will co-produce a slate of six movie projects in 2015.

Leading European film company StudioCanal has signed separate SVOD deals with Chinese internet companies Youku Tudou and BesTV.

Chinese online video platform Youku Tudou is launching a film arm, Heyi Film, which will leverage big data to produce a slate of theatrical features.
