Bangkok-based film fund Purin Pictures has selected three fiction and one documentary projects for production support, and one documentary project for post-production support, in its autumn 2023 funding round.
Four of the projects are from the Philippines and one is from Indonesia. Purin Pictures co-director Anocha Suwichakornpong said: “This session, half of all the submissions we received were from the Philippines. Because of various local support schemes and a just-do-it mentality, Filipino filmmakers continue to create interesting and varied works.”
A total of $140,000 will be given out in this session to the following projects:
($30,000 for fiction films & $15,000 for documentaries)
