Eros International’s online platform ErosNow has signed a deal with RailTel Corporation of India to stream film and TV content to mobile devices at up to 75 major railway stations.

RailTel has already launched a wifi service at New Delhi and Bangalore railway stations, which it plans to roll out across the country and also on trains.

The ErosNow platform offers users new and catalogue movies from Eros as well as other major Bollywood studios; premium TV content syndicated from major TV studios; along with music videos and audio tracks.

The ad-free platform offers consumers several options to access the content, including a monthly subscription package, download to rent and download to own.

ErosNow CEO Rishika Lulla Singh said: “We are happy to partner with RailTel in the Indian government’s endeavour to provide wifi facilities to the common man which has increasingly become a necessity. The association will further amplify the reach of ErosNow in providing the best in entertainment to a wider range of consumers.”
