International Film Festival Rotterdam’s Hubert Bals Fund (HBF) has selected 11 projects for its Script and Project Development Support initiative in the Winter 2022 funding round. Each project will receive a €10,000 grant.
In a change from recent years, HBF will not have a Script and Project Development Support funding round in Spring 2023, with the deadline for the next round falling in August 2023.
HBF has also launched a new scheme to fund the post-production of minority European co-productions – the HBF+ Europe: Post-production Scheme – which will open for applications during International Film Festival Rotterdam next year (January 25-February 5) until April 1. The same dates will apply to the HBF+Europe: Minority Co-production Scheme.
