DANAFF Project Market 2025: Full Line-Up
Project market will take place alongside the third Danang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam.

DANAFF Project Market has selected 14 projects for its 2025 edition, separated into two sections: Asian arthouse projects and Vietnamese genre projects.
Part of the DANAFF Talents initiative, the event is being held alongside the third Danang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF, June 29-July 5), co-hosted by local government and the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA), in the city of Danang, Vietnam.
The festival side of the event will feature two official competition sections (Asian In Competition Films and Vietnamese In Competition Films); along with a Vietnamese Cinema Panorama and Asian Cinema Panorama; thematic showcases including ‘Half a Century of Vietnamese War Cinema’ and a Focus on Korean Cinema, as well as industry and public engagement events.
The DANAFF Talents programme, held in collaboration with Autumn Meeting, will include a talent incubator workshop, with established filmmakers serving as mentors, followed by pitching sessions for the selected projects, with a jury of industry professionals appointed to hand out awards.
“We hope the Project Market will not only identify promising projects but also serve as a bridge between emerging filmmakers and producers, investors and distributors in search of compelling new works,” said DANAFF Project Market head Tran Thi Bich Ngoc.
Awards to be handed out include Best Project of the Arthouse Film Corner Pitch, an award of €8,000 from the CNC’s Cinémas du Monde; Best Project of the Vietnamese Genre Project Pitch, a $4,000 award from DANAFF; and a Mentorship Award from Malaysian training programme mylab.
